Fellow Marines and Corpsman: Look at this site. There's a lot of interest, importance and value in it.
From an email to me:
|
Dear Marine, I have attached a letter from the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation asking for your assistance in linking the Foundation’s Museum Store with your web site...." Ref: USMC 1st MP Battalion..." Col. Dick Camp
(Retired) Marine Corps Heritage
Center |
And the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation has seen fit to offer
a link to our site.
See it HERE, under "PARTNER
ORGANIZATIONS":
USMC 1st Military Police Battalion Association
As of now, it's third from the bottom of their page.
I'm happy to partner with them and glad to have brought this to your attention.

Dear Marines, Corpsmen, Army
and Air force members of 1st M.P. Bn:
Anyone who runs a web site knows that payment
must be made to the hosting company at least yearly. The time has
come. I pay yearly.
Earlier this year I asked for whatever
payment you all might contribute to me for the work I do, and have done
for more than 8 years on the building and upkeep of our site. In
effect a request for a pay check. Many members did send me payment.
And for that I thank you.
I know that times are tough for all
financially. And I have to pay the hosting company by July 2 and will
do so in any case.
Please consider this a request for payment to
the hosting company. I hope that you are benefiting from
Marine Corps Heritage
Foundation. It was a total surprise to me to have the Col. contact me
via email. And his mission is very important. His Store offers
incredible value. For example, I found a white, long-sleeve Marine
Corps tee-shirt there. No where else have I been able to find this. So
I got myself one.
I suspect that
some are out of work and can't afford anything. Also, that some do
claim (as I do) payment from the VA for service connected disability.
This usually arrives on the last day of the month. I would hope that
you can send me whatever you can afford for my work (shouldn't one be
paid at least twice a year for his work? Ha!) and to pay the
hosting company for another year to keep the site up. A dollar. Five
dollars. Whatever you can afford will be much appreciated.
I thank you very much,
and Semper Fidelis to all 1st M.P. members. Look at Roll Call and
you'll find members of this site who served with 1st M.P. Bn. in some
capacity from four branches of the military.
Anyone who knows how to work PayPal, my
address there is
